Diagnosis #7 – Adrenal Functions (DHEA & Cortisol) Normal

May 12, 2010
DHEA and Cortisol are hormones secreted by the Adrenal Glands
Cortisol is sometimes referred to as the stress hormones. High Levels of Cortisol means too much stress. Am so glad that Nanay’s cortisol levels is now within the normal range. This time I firmly believe that the prayers, detox theraphy, clean diet and sleep/relaxation helped to bring this down to this level. Nanay has also become a lot more prayerful and spiritual these days.
DHEA – SO4 = 1.17 (within normal range 0.9-11.2 umol/L
Cortisol = 166 nmol/L (range is from 160-250 nmol/L)
Since 18 April-  Nanay has been walking daily early in the morning and stretches her arms and shoulders and tries to soak up the sun and inhale fresh air and Chlorophyll. Roselind of Vernicia advised her to go for early morning walks when the sun is about come out and try to inhale the air near the grean vegatations (to inhale the Chlrophyll). She also tries to be in bed by 7 or 8pm so that she is already sleeping at 10am. Roselind said that it is very important to sleep between 10pm to 1am, because that is the time when our body repairs/heals itself. Melatonin is also produced by the pineal gland during this period. Breast Cancer patients usually have very low levels of melatonin– so its important for her to sleep during this period. Of course, it was not easy to sleep every night when one is worrying about cancer, and this is where prayer and meditating on God’s words helped to bring Nanay to a state of calm and serenity.
Then from 06 May – she has been rebounding on the trampoline for at least 5 minutes .
The blood tests was conducted on 12 May.
