Diagnosis #9: Organic Acids (imbalance)

July 5, 2010
Another 24 hour urine test showed that nanay has an imbalance of Organic Acids, which makes her less able to produce Vitamin B1(thiamine), B3(niacin), B5 and Lipoic Acids from her food.
Turned out that Mega -B supplement we purchased from Watsons (Nature’s way), was not enough for her. The test also showed that she is prone to depression and constipation due to this lack of certain B vitamins.

True enough, her lack of Vitamin B3 (niacin) made her prone to insomina, depression and muscle fatigue.

Dr. Lee asked me if Nanay has been taking enough protein– I told him that Nanay is not taking any animal protein since March 2010. He asked Nanay to take a Protein supplement (in powder form), which is made from Brown Rice.

He said Nanay, needs these extra B vitamins for energy required for her to heal her bodily functions.

Althoguh Nanay has enough energy for her daily walks and the domestic chorse (cooking and bathing Zarah), she still needs to have enough internal body energy for healing purposes.

Anyway, after taking extra doses of B1, B3, B5 and lipoic acid, in addition to lots of fiber, fruit, vegetables and water, Nanay still cannot move her bowels without jumping 500 times on the trampolene.

as of June 2011– I just realized that giving Nanay Vitamin B supplements does not really address her lack of organic acids. We are just supporting her body by giving her B Vitamins which are supposed to be metabolised by her organic acids. Since she is lacking organic acids, the root cause is still there— we are just like pouring water to a bottomless pit. So, now she is taking Acidol (HCL and Okra Pepsin supplementation) to address her imbalance in Organic Acids.

Are you healthy enough to participate in a clinical study for Betaine HCL? read here:

What is so funny about this clinical trial is that
    – Gerson has already been using natural Betaine HCL (from beets) to increase stomach acids of his patients
    – they are testing a synthesized Betaine HCL (which of course means potential revune = $$$ Money)
    – why now? why is it that no clinical testing was done on natural Betaine HCL since the 1950s?

oh by the way, there is also another clinical study of treating fatty liver (non-alcohol related) with Betaine HCL

    with no side effects:
