There are lots of cassava bush/three/plant (dunno how to categorise them properly) in our neighborhood (foot of bukit timah hill, side streets and even along Upper Bukit Timah Road). I am on annual leave tomorrow, so will be “harvesting” a bunch of young cassava leaves to try out the following recipes:

Saka Saka (Congo recipe for Cassava Vegetable Side Dish)
Depending on what is available on the fridge…I hope Nanay’s mortar and pestle is still around.. otherwise, I might just use our trusty Akira blender..
