Updates about Nanay

November 5, 2012

Lately it seems this blog has morphed into a self obsessed blog about myself ( or so I thought). Updates about Nanay
– she continues on her daily juicing and enemas but is eating a lot of cooked non-Gerson foods that I am worried somehow
– she drinks more juices and green smoothies now that am doing it for myself too
– have’nt done any diagnostic tests now as she prefers to use the money for buying high quality fruits and veggied .. But I am also dying to know her diagnosis now..
– 2 weeks ago we had a colonic bonding session ( say what?)me, my friend M, my SIL and Nanay went for a colonic hydrotheraphy… All 3 of us had too much junk coming out if us, Nanay was relatively “clean”, thanks to her daily enema
– this weekend I helped her to prepare for Hulda Clarke’s liver flush, as expected she also flushed small stones ( as she flushed a lot of stones via her enemas)
– the only supplement she is taking now is a high quality Vitamin B12 supplement
– she brews moringa and lemon grass everyday as tea and drinks lots of them
– she also have chamomille tea, peppermint snd oregano tea ( oregano controls candida)
– she is also into sitz baths, hip baths and suob ( pinoy sauna) nowadays
– she still takes care of her grandchildren and gets her dose of joy from it
– last month my SIL was so sick and she came to the rescue, by preparing and teaching her how to do tge coffee enema
– she now talks about opening a business offering services such as colonics, enemas and herbal education ( i can sense she is out if the dark tunnel of depression now, so am I)
– she encourages me to take courses on natural healing ( master herbalism, naturopathy, accupuncture) and to write a book about our experience and to teach othr people how to take control of their family’s health ( not only based on our own expwrience but also the experience of those who have been in this path before us … But do not speak ill of conventional doctors)
– seeing her enjoying her life so much, makes it worth all the sleepless nights, and all those long hours i spend at work to bring home the money for our survival in this little country called Singapore
– her garden is flourishing, just started composting too
– most of all her faith in the Lord grows and matures each day
– if you want to know more about her you can search for on Facebook

    hi Lanie,
it is great to hear that nanay miriam is doing well. I am happy for your veggie garden!

By the way, can you teach me how to brew moringa? i’ve tried juicing moringa and the taste was really bitter, that almost inedible even if i mixed it with apple juice… also, does nanay miriam still takes curcumin supplement nowadays?

    best regards,

Hi mavi, nanay is the one who replied to you earlier. Yes moringa is too so strong, for tea , boil 1 liter of water add 1 cup of loosely packed moringa, on earthen potware( no metals).. Cool then refrigerate.. Tho nanay prefers hot tea…

I prefer to take moringa in my smoothies read my pinoy datorade entry… if preparing a smoothie..Ratio of malunngay to fruits should be 1:4… E.g 1 cup of loosely packed moringa to 4 cups of apples or bananas.. Lately I got nanay to take moringa with blended, pineapple, orange juice ( no pulp)… 2 stalks of moringa only.. We also have to do trial and error to adjust our taste buds,,, tea never fails… Nanay can finish 1 liter of moringa tea a day

She stopped curcumin on the 2nd year due to some allergic reactions… Which i didnt find surprising… All the studies abt curcumin seems to say that at a certain point, usually on the 2nd year ( if u follow the protocol of building up to 8 grams a day) its efficacy will wane, for now she takes lemongrass tea to replace curcumin. Also the 30 day parasite cleanse every quarter… She never fails to pray and consult the Lord each day so we always make choices with Peace that surpasses all understanding..

So wonderful to hear of good news and progress, most of all a growing peace and walk with God. *Hugs* to you! I have also started juicing… Quite a bit of work but we feel so good after drinking it – me, Sweet Man and all the kids too. Any tips on keeping the habit going? Am starting to feel faint about it!

mama J, any of the kids already 6 year old and above? get them involved.. my Z helps by putting orange into the juicer (i still peel and cut to half though)… prepare your fruits at night if you can (oranges and bananas u dont have to refrigerate just keep on countertop)…prepare juice enough for the whole family so it becomes a family bonding session in the morning…have special juice bottles for each member of the family… little things adds up…if you slip.. its fine… get going again the next day 🙂

Great to know that your Mom is doing great and enjoying life. 🙂

You know, if you really can afford the time, it’ll be really ideal if you can take natural health or any course related to it. The amount of knowledge you have now is amazing. There are even online courses with flexible hours. I’ve contemplated many times to try since it’s my passion, anyways. But I don’t think I can do it anytime soon due to my busy schedule.

    hi Lanie and nanay Miriam,
Thanks for the moringa tea advise. 🙂 , brewing and diluting it in water is just as nice as a regular tea. my mother is taking 2 g curcumin a day, she’s just been into it for a month and a far so good + other vitamin supplements that dr.Lee has advised to her (i.e. b complex, TMG, zinc, vit D, folic).

i also started planting organic veggies in containers (we are living in higher floor hdb), it turns out to be really fun and therapeutic seeing those tiny seeds germinates.

my daughter Z is also now into planting.. we are currently experimenting to germinate seeds using cotton wool (with distilled water and the other one on kelp juice).. the seeds in kelp juice germinated faster..

we are going to transplant the germinated seeds of kailan and lettuce this coming saturday (unfortunately) our celery seeds didnt germinate…

we also germinated tomato seeds and red bell pepper seeds…yes! its fun, educational and therapeutic…:D sent you an email about the curcumin btw..

about malunggay/moringa, am trying to build her daily input from 1 ounce of moringa juice to about 8 ounces by mouth (got this idea from a book about Wheatgrass).. Ann Wigmore apparently asked her patients to take about 8 – 20 ounces of wheatgrass juice by mouth (and through rectal implants),,,for the therapuetic dosage (remember there are dosages for general well being and also dosages for therapuetic effects)

however, as you already know, taking pure green juice as strong as wheatgrass and moringa is really nauseating…specially if you dont dilute in fruit juice or water.. nanay still cant take even an ounce of pure moringa juice… and even is challenged in taking it with smoothies (I love the smoothies with moringa though.. even Tatay loves it)– for some reason Nanay doesnt like the taste and just wills herself to finish it… but she loves the tea so much… the only disadvantage to tea form is you lose the chlorophyl and enzymes…

Nanay is now buying wheatgrass (as in fresh grass) from a local organic store and have been juicing it too. and she loves the taste of wheatgrass juice.. but it can be quiet expensve.. so she tries to subsstitute with moringa as much as possible.

Our family, all of us also do enema everyday. And we have malunggay too in our table as well. But for is to really take all the nutrients of malunggay, we powder it then hinahalo namin sa food, halos di mo na sya malalasahan. Just dry malunggay for 3-5 days, hang it mas okay. Tapos once dry na, kusa silang natatanggal sa mga sanga nito. Iblend ninyo tapos sarain sa sifter para matanggal pa ang natirang mga sangga. Research shows kasi mas healthy ito kapag raw. Hope it helped.

We do the same for family consumption.. But locals who buy from us dont have the luxury of space so they compromise with commerciallly available moringa.. However we buy from farmers who also powderizes moringa raw. Glad ur family is empowered healthwise..
