Apple Cinnamon Breakfast “Cereal” without the “Cereal”

November 11, 2012

Trying to get myself, Nanay and my daughter weaned off from normal grocery store bought breakfast cereals, by introducing fruits (that resembles cereal’s crunchiness)…

In this video, we made Apple Cinnamon Breakfast “Cereal”without the “Cereal”(no oatmeal, not even raw oatmeal)

Breakfast cereal without the cereal
1. Process 3 apples in a blender or food processor
2. Put into a nice plate, add a teaspoon of cinnamon powder
3. Add a mango and a banana

Enjoy!!!

If you are going to try this recipe, try red apples as well. I prefer that green apples, however it seems children prefer red apples as it is sweeter. Let me know if you and your children liked it.

We need to be weaned from gluten/starch and instead depend on carbs from fruits as God intended it to be, am sure the process won’t be easy, but for sure there will come a time, if we persevere, that we will no longer crave gluten/starch in as much as we are now in a state wherein we dont feel deprived even if we dont have a car or a nice house, as God’s grace have been sufficient for us. We do however still experience physical hunger and thirst, though we know now that our sustenance come from God and God alone e.g I won’t be able to get up everyday in the morning, prepare juices and fruits/veggies and go to work day in day out without the blessed Hope that God planted in our hearts. I know now that I can not do it all, that I cannot even stick to a protocol or a regimen, or that I cannot attain perfection in everything I do.. But in my weakness God is glorified…

Today we covered Psalms 131 in Sunday school, Psalms 131 was David’s psalm of humility. Incidentaly the picture words used in this psalm to illustrate David’s state of mind is that of a child weaned from her mother’s milk. You know it wasnt easy for me to wean Z from my breast milk when she was only 6 weeks old. I have very little milk supply so she really had to learn how to suck from the baby bottles instead of my breasts. She didnt immediately took that change positively and it was emotionally draining for both of us. She cried and I cried with her, eventually she got used to the bottles and never had to feel deprived of my breasts. Such was David’s state of spiritual maturity at that time, he used to be self seeking and self sufficient and had a hard time weaning himself fron his own self centered ways. His selfishness was actually a way for him to address his own desire for happiness. When he surrendered himself To God, that desire for happiness like Z’s desire for food was never extinguished, however he found his happiness from God’s eternal hope, he does not feel deprived of things of the world because he was already completely weaned.

Given that, I am still in God’s school ( earth), there are still a lot to be learned and lots of things that I need to be weaned off (physically and spiritually), but I trust the process and most of all I hope in the Lord now and forever more.

King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Matthew 18:3 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

1 Corinthians 14:20 Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

excerpt from:
http://www.pbc.org/system/message_files/6246/4381.htmlA child who has grown through the difficult weaning process learns contentment and a different relationship with his mother. He chooses voluntarily to sit quietly in his mother’s lap, not demanding but just enjoying the relationship, happy to be there by choice. That child has learned to understand the mother’s love, to trust that the mother cares and will meet his needs. He learns that he is not the center of the universe; he learns not to be demanding. Three times David says in that verse, “I have quieted my soul.” He means, “I choose to quit talking, to quit howling and screaming and demanding that God fix this and fix that, especially the people around me. I’ve learned to be quiet, to rest.”

Just wish to let you know if you drink beet juice you need to eat an apple right after drinking it so it will not be too hard on the kidneys. There is also a beet juice protocol/recipe.

There is another unknown protocol, hedge apple, a very quick cancer healer as well as other ailments. Research it. It grows in Texas should it should grow in RP, just don’t know if it exists there.
